Thank you from Dakar (the capital city of Senegal in West Africa)

I am writing to you from Dakar (the capital city of Senegal in West Africa) where I have been today to visit Fann Hospital and to see the cumulative results of the donations Bon Secours have so generously donated on behalf of the hospital staff, in January and again this month.

Professor Seydou Badiane showed my around the Neurosurgery department, where firstly we saw ward after ward, full of high quality hospital beds and thermo-conductor mattresses, Bon Secours have in total donated almost 30 hospital grade beds and mattresses across the two shipping containers and the wards look like a different place because of it.

We also got to glimpse in on two surgery's taking place that were using some of the consumable donations such as surgery kits, gloves, facemasks, aprons and other items so generously given.  There were two children on the operating tables having brain tumours removed and it's great to think that we can contribute to the success of their procedures.

The shipment only arrived in the last week or two so they are still unpacking some of the 6 pallets where there is also Cardio items to be delivered the Cardio Department but I have no doubt it will be as useful and effective as the rest.

Many thanks again to all Bons staff for your continued love and support!

Best,
