GPS and Consultants
The Bon Secours Hospital Dublin welcomes referrals from Consultants to our Outpatient services. The Hospital has excellent arrangements in place with private health insurance companies and provides quality and cost effective options for your patients where an outpatient test may not be covered.
Outpatient bookings may be made by contacting our GP Liaison and Outpatient Booking Department on 01 808 2300 or by email to gpliaison@bonsecours.ie Our dedicated team of 5 will provide you with any assistance you may need in relation to organising an appointment for your patient.

Medical Assessment Unit
The Medical Assessment Unit provides patients with same day access to a General Medical Consultant following referral from their GP. The advantages for the patient are that they are seen quickly and any necessary tests are performed on the day. In most cases the patients are discharged on the same day with a treatment plan or alternatively they may be admitted to the hospital through the Rapid Access service for further investigation and treatment.
This is a Consultant led service with a supporting medical back-up team.
