Mr David Kent MD FRCOphth

David Kent is a consultant eye surgeon of 18 years with a subspecialty interest in diseases of the retina (surgical & medical). He founded the Vision Clinic in 2008, with the express aim of combining his clinical practice with ground-breaking retinal research in diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration.

  • Eyelids - lumps, bumps, ingrown eyelashes and age-related conditions such as ectropion (eyelid turning out) and entropion (eyelid turning in)

Current Research

Currently, he is researching the development of innovative immune-based therapies for age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic retinopathy (DR) and is collaborating with research groups throughout Europe and the USA.
