The Pain Management service at the Bon Secours Hospital Dublin has been developed to provide an individual and holistic service to patients who are suffering from chronic pain
The specialist Pain Management Team at the Bon Secours Hospital Dublin care for patients with acute and chronic pain including the treatment of cancer related pain. The differing interests and experience of each of the three consultants complement each other to ensure the provision of a comprehensive service for both inpatient and outpatients suffering from pain and pain related issues. The team also works closely with a range of other specialties as required to provide a holistic and tailored approach to the treatment of pain.

Dr Hu graduated from Royal College of Surgeon, Dublin in 1997 with Honours. He completed his specialist training in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care Medicine and Pain Management in Ireland. He completed Pain Medicine Fellowship training in St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin and the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, UK. In 2009, he was appointed to the position of Consultant Specialist in Pain Medicine in Tallaght University Hospital, Dublin.

Dr Moore graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2006. He completed his training in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care Medicine and Pain Management in Ireland. He completed further fellowship training in pain management in the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore, UK) and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (London, UK). In 2017, he was appointed as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Management in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.

Dr Mudrakouski completed his training in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care Medicine and Pain Management in Ireland in 2015. He completed further fellowship training in Pain Management in the Pain Medicine Fellowship training in St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin and Leeds teaching Hospitals, UK.
In 2017, he was appointed as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Management in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.
Dr. Pollard is a graduate of University College of Cork and she completed her training in Anaesthesiology in Ireland. She then worked at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston as an Assistant Professor for five years and published a number of research papers on near infrared spectroscopy and cerebral blood flow in sepsis. She completed her fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Kentucky at Lexington. She has worked as a Consultant Specialist in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesiology at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin since 1998. For the past three years, she has also served as the Director of the Pain Medicine Department at Beaumont Hospital.
