Bon Secours Hospital, Cork have made a donation to YMCA Cobh’s Advisory Committee to support their Cobh Community Drug & Alcohol Project.
We know that drug and alcohol addiction (especially among our young people) is on the rise within Cork and across the country! This illness does not discriminate; impacting individuals and families from all walks of life!
Monies contributed through our Bon Secours Community Initiative Fund will be used to provide long-term follow-up support and employment services for individual intent on beating their addictions! This is a two-year commitment from the Bons, which will give the YMCA project enough time to demonstrate the programme’s success and secure permanent funding, so they are enabled to continue helping people get themselves healthy and back on track, in charge of their lives whilst contributing to their community!
