Dr Deirdre O’Mahony is a UCC graduate. Her post-graduate Medical Oncology training was undertaken in Beaumont and St James’s Hospitals, Dublin; in addition to completing a Masters in Molecular medicine from Trinity College Dublin.
She then completed a post graduate fellowship in the world-renowned National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland and continued there as a Consultant until she returned to Ireland in 2008. While trained as a Medical Oncologist in all areas, her specialty interests include Breast, Lymphoma and Sarcoma.
