Donation to the Children’s Medical Research Foundation Crumlin.

Prof. Ronan O Sullivan, Medical Assessment Unit BSHC, is taking on the New York City Marathon 2017 for CMRF, which is the fundraising ‘arm’ of the National Children’s Research Centre and Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.  This fantastic charity supports children and their families from all over Ireland through their research.

At their core is the belief that every sick child deserves every chance. They want little patients to have the best possible outcomes through access to world class research, equipment and treatments when they become ill. Prof Ronan commented “As an ongoing Principal Investigator with NCRC, I can personally vouch for the wide-ranging benefits of supporting children’s research, which are not confined to any social class or group i.e. benefit to all”

We wish Ronan the very best of luck in his training and in the marathon.
