Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT)
Mr Moriarty began his studies in medicine at the University College of Cork. Following graduation, Mr Moriarty trained in General surgery in County Cork before carrying out his specialty training in Otolaryngology in Manchester and Birmingham. Mr Moriarty also completed a residency program in Otolaryngology in Ontario, Canada. Mr Moriarty undertook a Fellowship in ear pathology and a Clinical Fellowship in head and neck surgery at the University Hospital of Toronto. Mr Moriarty completed a Clinical Fellowship in Paediatric Otolaryngology at the Hospital for Sick Children Toronto.
Mr Moriarty is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland, the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. Mr Moriarty is also a member of the Academy of Medicine of Ireland. Mr Moriarty has taken numerous opportunities to teach throughout his career, being a Senior Clinical Lecturer with the University College of Cork. Mr Moriarty is a member of the Court of Examiners of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland.
Mr Moriarty has a broad interest in all aspects of Otolaryngology with numerous publications in peer reviewed journals regarding all areas of Otolaryngology. Mr Moriarty participates in the Maintenance of Professional Competence program of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and the Professional Competence scheme of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland.Back to top
