Come prepared

The rheumatologist will often need to do a general examination as well as examine the joint you are complaining about. For this reason it is a good idea to wear loose fitting clothing to your appointment.

Please bring a list of all your current medications to your appointment. This is essential as we may not have this information. If you have recently tried medication for pain or arthritis and are no longer taking them, it is important that you also tell us about these medications.

Arranging Appointments

Please ask your General Practitioner or another appropriate health professional e.g. Physiotherapist or another Consultant for a referral to see Dr Buckley. This will inform Dr Buckley about why you are coming, and will also ensure that any appropriate blood tests are arranged in advance of your appointment.

If you are an existing patient of Dr Buckley’s please contact the office on 066 7164533 and we can make an appointment for you.
