Orthotics Cork

Do your feet ache while you are at work? Have you been told you have flat feet? Do your wear orthotics that need to be replaced?

You could benefit from a foot assessment by a Chartered Physiotherapist.

A foot assessment involves a detailed biomechanical evaluation of the structure of your feet. It also analyses how your feet affect your posture and movement of your body as a whole. If  indicated that  you need an orthotic, our team of Chartered Physiotherapists with post graduate training in this area, led by Siobhan Hoare, will discuss your options with you. Outpatients can attend for a foot assessment  with or  without a GP or consultant referral.

Orthotics are insoles prescribed to correct the biomechanics of the foot and associated symptoms. They are made to measure and each one is unique.

Conditions often treated by orthotics are:

  • Pain in the ball of the foot (Metatarsalgia)
  • [Orthotics] Tired/Aching feet and legs
